Booking Terms & Conditions

DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of this Terms & Conditions Policy, the following phrases shall have the corresponding meanings.
“We”, “Our” and “Us” shall mean AEC Protection Training Limited.
“You” and “Your” shall mean the Named Person/Organisation the booking is under AND/OR the Learner/Candidate.

Cancellations

Due to incurred costs such as Awarding Body Registration Fees & E-Learning Licences etc, we are unable to offer Cash Refunds on any bookings. We will offer refunds as Course Credit towards a future course. The value of Course Credit given will depend on the Cancellation Notice given by you. This is detailed within the “Rescheduling” section below. This does not affect your Statutory Right to Cancellation within 14 days of placing your order, in line with the ‘Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013’. For Part-Paid orders, full payment will still be due in line with the invoice ‘Due Date’. If you start any E-Learning Courses within this 14 day period, this element cannot be refunded and you will waive your right to cancellation. By accessing or starting any E-Learning, you acknowledge that a reasonable deduction will be made from any course refund to cover this cost.

ReschedULING

If you can no longer attend a booked course and wish to move yourself on to a later course, we will allow you to carry over Course Credit. For Part-Paid orders, full payment will still be due in line with the invoice ‘Due Date’. The value of Course Credit offered will depend on the notice you give, and is at the sole discretion of AEC Protection Training Limited. This is detailed below:

• 22+ days in advance of the course – 100% Course Credit able to be carried to a new course.
• 15 – 21 days in advance of the course – 75% Course Credit able to be carried to a new course.
• 8 – 14 days in advance of the course – 50% Course Credit able to be carried to a new course.
• 0 – 7 days in advance of the course – 25% Course Credit able to be carried to a new course.

LATE ARRIVAL / NO-SHOW / FAILURE TO ATTEND TRAINING

Timely arrival is essential due to limitations imposed on us through Minimum Contact Time and Course Guided Learning Hours set by the Awarding Organisations.

There will be a zero tolerance approach given to lateness – you will be turned away from the Training Centre without refund or future credit.

Non-attendance of any course, for any reason, is deemed to be a cancellation without notice and as such no refund will be issued. For unpaid/partially paid courses, full payment will still be due.

FAILURE TO COMPLETE E-LEARNING, PRE-LEARNING, HOME-STUDY OR SELF-STUDY MATERIAL

If you attend a course but fail to have satisfactorily completed the required E-Learning, Pre-Learning, Home-Study and/or Self-Study Material, as specified in your Pre-Course Joining Instructions and required by Awarding Organisation Regulations, then AEC Protection Training reserve the right to cancel your course and turn you away from the Training Centre. No refund will be issued.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE PROOF OF IDENTITY DOCUMENTS 

If you attend a course and fail to provide adequate Proof Of Identity as specified in your Pre-Course Joining Instructions and required by Awarding Organisation Regulations, then AEC Protection Training reserve the right to cancel your course and turn you away from the Training Centre. No refund will be issued.

EXAM FAILURE / RE-SITS

In the unfortunate circumstance that you fail one or more of your exam(s), you will have to re-attend the Training Centre for an exam re-sit. There will be a Re-Sit Fee of £78.00 due for payment before any re-sits are taken.
