Don’t be put off by the course name, The Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors Course allows you to work in roles across the Security Industry, including Retail Security, Door Supervision, Corporate Security and Event Security. The Award for Door Supervisors Course is designed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to give people a complete overview of the Private Security Industry.
With many diverse roles you need a course that gives you the best preparation for job searching which is why The Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors Course is perfect. It's wide curriculum covering everything from Law & legislation to Safe Physical Intervention Techniques, will mean that you are best prepared to work in this exciting industry.
This Course is a MANDATORY REQUIREMENT to obtain the SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
As of April 2021, this course has increased to 5.5 days to include the additional training requirements set out by the SIA, including the compulsory Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Qualification, which MUST be achieved prior to the commencement of any security training.
DURATION
The course is run "blended", with 8-9 Hours of E-Learning (Home Self-Study) and 5.5 Days of Face-to-Face Classroom Sessions

Prerequisites
As of April 2021, you MUST hold a Verified & Accredited Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) Qualification (or equivalent), which must be achieved prior to the commencement of any security training and have at least 12 months remaining until expiry.
